This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you visit onewayticketgame.com (the “Website”) and when you contact us or take part in our workshops. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is Judyta Kuc, a private individual (One Way Ticket is a personal project and is not run as a registered business).

2. What data we collect and why
- Contact form. When you use the contact form we collect the data you provide (such as your name, e-mail address, organisation and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal for a workshop. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into an agreement and our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Playtest feedback form. Feedback about the game is collected through an external Google Form. Data you submit there is processed by Google under its own terms; see section 5.
- E-mail correspondence. If you write to us directly, we process the data contained in your message to handle your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data (such as IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) to ensure the security and stability of the Website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Cookies and similar technologies. See section 6.
3. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above: enquiries and related correspondence for the duration of the exchange and afterwards for the period required to protect against or pursue claims; data connected with a workshop agreement for the period required by law (including tax and accounting obligations). Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until the consent is withdrawn.
4. Who we share data with
We may share your data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf (processors), in particular: our hosting provider (the Website is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure located in the European Union), and our e-mail provider. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Third-party services and international transfers
The Website embeds content from third parties who may set their own cookies and process data according to their own privacy policies: YouTube (Google), Spotify and Kickstarter. Our playtest feedback is collected via Google Forms. Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area; in such cases transfers are safeguarded by mechanisms provided for in the GDPR (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).
6. Cookies
The Website uses cookies. Essential cookies are necessary for the Website to function. Other cookies (for example those set by embedded YouTube, Spotify or Kickstarter content) are used only with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can change or withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify it; erase it (“right to be forgotten”); restrict its processing; data portability; object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
